Wanderer's Fall

An Equinox poem

An explorer of Fall.

Eyes looking at the dirt,
walking among the trees
painted in orange, red 
and brown. Dying leaves 
falling 
to the ground.

Deeper the eyes fell 
for the small beauties,
of gentle snails 
and cracking wood 
sticks,
walking among the leaves 
In this timeless space
of Fall.

In cold and sweet awe,
Through the dark path
to Mother’s lair,
by the perfume of wet earth,
And the music of the wild 
bellow.
Touching consciousness 
in a perfect trance.
Losing Himself 
In this explosion of the senses.
Of all sounds and scents.
